Jon Amodeo is a 1989 Pittsburgh Central Catholic graduate and co-captain of the first ever PA state championship football team.  He went on to play football, and golf, at Thiel College in Greenville earning a bachelor’s degree in 1993. After college, Jon moved back to his hometown, Oakmont PA, where he was reunited with his best friend since the 7th grade turned wife of 20 years now, Miriam. They have two children who are in high school, Pittsburgh Central Catholic and Oakland Catholic. Jon first began his career with Northwestern Mutual in 1993, and was ranked #12 nationally for first year advisors. Jon left Northwestern Mutual after a couple of years when he was recruited by Frank B. Fuhrer. He went on to serve as a Senior Manager in the pharmaceutical industry for Schering-Plough and  Meda Pharmaceuticals. Being a long-time client of Northwestern Mutual and enticed by working for, and earning, revenue versus wages, he came back to Northwestern Mutual in 2011. In his free time, Jon enjoys playing golf, spending quality time with his family and supporting charities and organizations that are close to his heart, including serving on the Board of Directors at Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School.
